SDSU extended studies is conducting a one day course on Intellectual Property licensing and technology commercialization. This course for anyone who wants to work in the technology transfer both in academic side as well as industry side. This course will go through how to bring a invention to a market place and talks will focus on how to transfer(license) to a company who can develop a technology. We will go through the process of licensing and the elements involved in licensing.

​We will also touch upon when to think of a start-up and what are the do’s and don’ts of starting a company.
There is no prerequisite for the class. Attendance certificate will be given. There is a cost to this course to cover the course material, continental breakfast, lunch, coffee and PARKING. The format is informal where attendees talk to all 3 instructors, ask lot of questions and work in teams.

If 3 people register, one of their coordinators, PI or a manager can accompany them without cost.
