Paul received the B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cal State Poly Pomona in 1984, M.S. from Washington State University in 1988 and Ph.D. from University of California at Davis in 1994.Â After his B.S. he worked at the South Coast Air Quality Management District evaluating air pollution permits. After his Ph.D. he had a postdoctoral fellowship at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, WA.Â Paul now works at Hewlett-Packard Company in Rancho Bernardo developing ink formulations for inkjet printers. Paul has more than ten peer-review publications and eleven patents. He has served for several years as Member-At-Large and as Alternate Councilor on the SDACS board. Â He currently serves as chairs of the Newsletter and ChemExpo committees. His primary goal on the board is to help strengthen the chemical community in San Diego.
