ChemPloyment 786 – Chemistry Instructor

Position Title:

MiraCosta Community College, in North San Diego County, invites applications for one full-time (10 months per year), tenure-track faculty position beginning in August 2017.

The Chemistry Department is seeking an academically focused chemist who will provide instruction primarily in General Education (CHEM 100; PHSN 101, 106) and Allied Health courses (CHEM 100, 102, 104). The person selected will also provide leadership for the aforementioned courses to ensure consistency of curriculum. In addition, this instructor will develop online versions of existing courses, as well as new lecture and laboratory General Education curriculum. Opportunities to teach other courses in the Chemistry Department may be possible, depending on the needs of the department.
